message from the president

Dear WISTA Members,
Dear Friends!

Welcome To WISTA CAYMAN ISLANDS

The Cayman Islands has a great seafaring tradition. For generations, Caymanians were known as first-class mariners and were captains, navigators, and crew for many of the world's largest shipping companies. Just about every Caymanian family has a strong connection to our beautiful blue waters and the darker blue, which lies beyond the horizon.

It is this strong seafaring heritage which has driven our choice of theme for this year's conference. "Founded Upon the Seas".

The Cayman Islands motto, "He hath founded it upon the seas", is printed at the bottom of the shield on the coat of arms of the Cayman Islands. This verse from Psalms 24 acknowledges Cayman's Christian heritage.
